The City of Cleveland became “age-friendly” in 2014. This recognizes the city’s efforts to have services and features older adults need to thrive here, safely and independently. Enrique Correa from Cleveland’s TV20 public access channel visited STC to learn more about what we do to make Cleveland a better place for its older residents. Watch our segment here.
The Senior Transportation Connection Annual Meeting on May 16 is hosted by the E.J. Bohn Rose Center, 1667 Ansel Road in Cleveland. The Center is one of six Rose Center sites that use our services to bring local residents to lunch, socialize and enjoy activities.
Each year, STC invites our supporters to visit a partner location like E.J. Bohn with us. The annual meeting features highlights from the prior year, comments from staff, clients and the Board of Directors. This year, we honor Howard Maier, who completes his term as Board Chairman. About 60 guests attended and helped to celebrate Mr. Maier’s leadership and advocacy to support the mobility thousands of Cuyahoga County seniors enjoy with STC.
Congratulations to outgoing Board Chairman Howard Maier
