> LONG TERM CARE OMBUDSMAN
The Long Term Care Ombudsman handles complaints about long term
care and provides help in selecting nursing homes, assisted living,
and adult care facilities in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain and

all your concerns for residents rights.

AREAWIDE COORDINATING AGENCY
A Federally funded designated Metropolitan Planning Organization
for five counties of Northeast Ohio. It’s chief functions
are to provide long and short-range transportation planning, transportation-related
air quality planning and area wide water quality management planning.

road conditions and information about programs for seniors and
the disabled.

Programming dedicated to providing a unique, informative, and entertaining
hour along with music and trivia from the 40's, 50's and 60's.
The Senior Connection can be heard on WERE 1300 AM radio in Cleveland,
Ohio on Mondays and Fridays from 8-9:00 am and Saturdays from 6:00-7:00
am.
>UNITED WAY OF GREATER CLEVELAND
United Way of Greater Cleveland makes a difference in the lives of more than 400,000 people throughout Greater Cleveland each year. We provide funding to more than 200 programs provided by our 105 partner agencies and 21 newly funded agencies. These programs are carefully reviewed through a citizen review process and meet well-established professional standards for nonprofit management practices, financial management and service provision.

The Area Agency is responsible for planning, coordinating and administering
state and federal funded programs and services for older adults.
> WORK ACCESS AND VAN POOLS
The van pool program is designed to address gaps in public transportation
by providing service to targeted major employment centers and industrial
parks throughout Cuyahoga County and selected areas of neighboring
counties.
