The City of Cleveland became “age-friendly” in 2014. This recognizes the city’s efforts to have services and features older adults need to thrive here, safely and independently. “For many individuals in Greater Cleveland, one of life’s most pressing questions is, “How am I going to get there?” For the older adult population and those with disabilities, that question becomes more difficult to answer.”
Intern Rachel Szeles talks about her experiences learning about transportation for seniors. Learn more in her Cleveland Foundation Blog post. Her work will help STC better understand how changing technology is bringing new options for our passengers to access transportation.
STC is one of 20 non-profits that benefit from an intern funded by The Cleveland Foundation. Rachel is conducting a passenger survey on technology use and we look forward to what she discovers.
